Hi , I have been advised that I have a domain name with Microsoft and it needs to be removed. When trying to access admin centre it says I don't have permission yet I am the admin person for this domain. I can access microsoft as an individual user but not as admin. Please could someone assist on how I could get to deleting the domain.

thank you

Godaddy told you this? Best guess - you created a free teams or flow account using the address.

Try taking over as admin -

    admin.microsoft.com/admintakeover?auth_upn=youremailaddress

If you can't get in as admin, you will need to call Microsoft business support. https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoft-365/admin/contact-support-for-business-products?view=o365-worldwide&tabs=online

Don't let them tell you don't have a business account - your domain is set up on the business side and they can help you get in or remove it for you.

    Hello Trina S,

Thank you for coming to the forum and I will be happy to assist in the best way I can.

You will need to explain to me, what you mean by you can access as a user: Because it seems you are not aware that there is a work or school account with the domain in Microsoft (correct me If I am wrong).

The problem here will be you will need to contact Microsoft to claim the domain. Since you are not the one who created the Work or School account with that domain. Another question is do you have another Microsoft account with a Business or Personal Subscription? Is it the same email domain as this one or different?

    I kindly await a reply for a follow-up .

    Kind Regards Fuad

Administrative Rights under your tenant is required to remove Domain, or you would like to remove your own Domain suffix (e.g.user@****) only?
