Designer Grayed out

So today when I opened Powerpoint, Design Ideas disappeared from the home tab. I later manually added it back, now it appears as designer, but it is grayed out. I have restarted the app multiple times. Is there a fix for this?

    Hello,

Are you still experiencing this issue?

A potential solution is, if you are running Office 365 or Office Home and Student I suggest searching for Uninstall or change a program in the "Type here to search" box; from there you want to find the current version of office you are running and uninstalling the program. To reinstall the program you want to go to www.office.com and installing the app directly from that website using the default settings.

If this does not fix the issue, What version of Office are you running? Does this happen when you open a blank document? Are you signed into your Microsoft account?

    Best Regards,

Designer can be finicky about what custom layouts it will work with. If you create a new, blank presentation, is the command still disabled?

Are you sure you have 365 version. Post what you see in File>Account.
