MS Form limits

I am attempting to build out a form for our employees to review a document and sign (and disclose any issues if they need to report). I can't seem to link to the document in sharepoint, so I figured I'd copy/paste the contents of the document into Forms. However, there seems to be a limit on how much I can paste per section but I don't know what that limit is. What is the word/character limit of a section description?

Would appreciate any creative solutions to this problem.

    Dear ShawUW,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

I went through your post, and Below is the information In would like to share with you:

What is the word/character limit of a section description? I also tested from my side and I met the same behavior as you! I couldn't add a long text as a question!

I found an article about this question. Kindly refer to this article and the screenshot below: Form, question, response, and character limits in Microsoft Forms

A form for our employees to review a document and sign (and disclose any issues if they need to report). I can't seem to link to the document in sharepoint:

To address this concern, I kindly suggest you submit your feedback by clicking on Send Feedback button on the Microsoft Forms Feedback platform and let the Developers Team know how important it is to add a functionality for attaching Files in Microsoft Forms. I noticed that some other community members have already raised their concern about this issue. Please add your vote here: add feature to allow form owner attach file in the form · Community (microsoft.com). The more votes the more attention the developers team will pay on. Our Product Team is in-charge of the site and they are constantly checking the comments and feedback from our customers. Microsoft aims to improve its products and services via customer response.

As a workaround, since the document you want to share stored in SharePoint, you can create a group in SharePoint, add your target members in that group, share that document to that group. After that, go to Microsoft Forms, click Add New > Click on the Drop-down Menu > Upload File > Type a title > Select the File size Limit > then send this form to the target respondents:

Note: Whoever uploads the file, their names will be recorded. It may not be an option if you want anonymous responses!

Thank you for your kind understanding and cooperation. I hope the above helps! Stay Safe!

    Sincerely,
