Did you drag using the right mouse button? Dragging the left mouse button will indeed produce 1, 1, 1, ... - as it has always done.
Excel Flash fill number sequence is NOT WORKING
I don't know what's going on with excel; for some reason, the excel flash fill number sequence isn't working. The fill handle used to look like this and would make the numbers 1,2,3,4,5,
But now, when you drag the fill handle, it look like this and goes 1,1,1,1,1,1,1
I'm not sure what to do I've uninstalled and reinstalled Microsoft Office twice now. I've checked all the advanced settings and even contacted Microsoft support and still cannot get this resolved.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2023-01-03T15:00:37+00:00 It does for me, unless I hold the Ctrl key down while doing it. Either way, you should still get the Fill options dialog, not the Flash Fill one. You'll get the Quick Analysis one (the one in your second image) if you then reselect the data.
