Hi all,

I have been recieving this error periodically while accessing from a remote system.

DataSource.Error: ODBC: ERROR [IM003] Specified driver could not be loaded due to system error 127: The specified procedure could not be found. (Oracle in ODBC64, C:\ORACLE\DRIVERS\ODBC64\SQORA32.dll).

Details:

DataSourceKind=Odbc

DataSourcePath=dsn=###(db in question)

OdbcError=[Table]

Though when I look in that file location I see the file.

Am I missing something? 15% of the time I am able to access the database no problem.

Thank you.

    Dear Norskyggen99,

    Greetings! Thank you for posting in the Microsoft forum.

    The error usually occurs when Excel is not able to find the expected location information. Please ensure the Oracle Client application is fully updated.

    Also, please check if Microsoft 365 apps are fully updated. To check version information, open any Office app, such as Excel or Word, click File>Account, check for the info mentioned under Product Information. The latest version of Current channel is 2209 (Build 15629.20156). For other channel version info, see Update history for Office 365 ProPlus.

    If the version is not updated as mentioned in the article, please contact the system admin to install updates and check if the issue remains.

    Further, if possible, please test the scenario on your local machine to verify if the issue happens only on the remote system or local computer also shows the same behavior.

    We will look forward to your reply. Stay safe and stay healthy.

    Sincerely,

    Neha Singh | Microsoft Community Moderator
