The 'Analyse Data' button is now missing from Excel on my Mac after updating to the latest Office version (16.63).

It was located next the 'Find & Select' before the update when I was on 16.49.

Please help!

Regards,

Jay

    Dear Jahangir Khan1,

Thank you for posting in Microsoft Community.

Based on the description, Excel Analyze Data is missing after updating to Version 16.63.1 (22071301). Apologies for the inconvenience caused to you by this behavior.

I checked it on my testing environment Excel Version 16.63 (22070801) and it have the Analyze Data. In Update history for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Docs the new Version is 16.64 (22081401) released August 16, 2022.

I checked the Release notes for Office for Mac - Office release notes | Microsoft Docs but there is no information about the Analyze Data.

I am updating my Excel to the same version you have and I will post back once completed. I will also install the newer version if I cannot reproduce the behavior with the version you have.

For the meantime, could you please let me know the language preference in your Excel?

Official article about Analyze Data in Excel (microsoft.com).

Thank you for your kind understanding and patience. Stay safe and healthy always.

    Sincerely,

    Hi Jay,

    The current update is 16.64

Use the Menu Bar and choose Help > Check for Updates to launch AutoUpdate. Let it install the update and then test.

    Please reply with the results.

BTW, there's a new icon for this feature:

If you still don't see Analyze Data after installing the update, go to Excel > Preferences > Ribbon and Toolbar and make sure it's turned on.
