Hi! I bought a laptop which is Hp that comes with Office Home and Student 2019, but then it started to display blackscreen and I have to bring it to the technician. They change its motherboard, and when I open my word, powerpoint, excel this morning, it says that my microsoft is unlicensed. I read some questions and answers here, it says that I need to deactivate it, but I don't have the old motherboard of my laptop. I don't know how to deactivate it from my old motherboard.

    Hello Faithlyn

I'm Diane, an M365 Apps & Services MVP and I’m happy to help you today.

You don't need to deactivate it - that is only if the old computer is working. The new motherboard caused the install to deactivate automatically.

If Office won't activate over the internet, you will need to contact Microsoft to activate.

    Activation wizard - reinstall https://support.microsoft.com/office/activate-office-using-the-activation-wizard-1144e0de-e849-496e-8e33-ed6fb1b34202#BKMK_Reinstall
