Which excel versions do not have the Date Filter Drop Down feature?

    Not sure if I am correctly interpreting your problem. With AutoFilter, there are 2 methods of displaying the filter list. One is Grouped and the other a simple list of the dates.

    The above can be changed as follows.

    • Select File -> Options -> Advanced.
    • Scroll down to Display options for this workbook
    • Check or uncheck the option to Group dates in the AutoFilter menu.

    Refer to the screen shot. If this does not resolve your problem then lease explain further.

    As far as I remember, any version before 2016.

    EDIT: I checked my VMs and found that also Excel 2007 has this option.
