I have Office 2021 (not office 365). I have created a page of labels and need a second page. When I tab from the last label on the first page, it creates the next page but loses the formatting. I have searched everywhere for a solution, and cannot find one. Any thoughts?

Also, in that same document, I cannot delete that second page with the wrong formatting. I've tried the normal Ctrl G, chose page 2, close and delete but the page remains.

You do not have to be mailing anything to use mail merge. If you create an Excel spreadsheet that contains a list of the data for each label with something to use a field names in the first row and then follow the procedure for creating a label mail merge main document to which you attach that Excel spreadhsheet as the data source, when you use the Finish and Merge facility and select either Edit Individual Documents or Printer as the destination of the merge, you will get as many sheets of the labels as are required by the number of rows in the data source.

I'm not mailing any thing. I'm creating waterproof garden labels for all my dahlias. So I'm not sure how a mail merge would apply.

Are you using Mail Merge to create the labels. If so, when you use the Finish and Merge facility, it will automatically add pages as necessary.

If you are not using mail merge, what do you mean by the second page "losing formatting"?

What label template are you using?

Can you show us a screen shot of the result of the lost formatting?

You can see the last few labels on the first page has a .25" space between the labels. When i tab to the second page it creates a label without spacing which forces me to reformat the entire page.

Labels are created as a table. When you tab out of the last row of a table, you get a new row but not a whole page of new rows. You can copy/paste the table format from one page to the next, but when you need more than one page of labels, it is much more efficient to create the labels using a mail merge.
