Sizing down inserted spreadsheet without re-scaling - One Note

I've inserted a spreadsheet into a page on One Note but it is showing way more lines than I'd like. I'd like to only show the print area, as defined on the original spreadsheet, but I can't see how to do that. I've changed every formatting option I can think of, nothing changes the spreadsheet taking up an entire page in One Note versus the 10 or so lines that I have defined as the print area. On One Note, if I grab the bottom of the inserted spreadsheet and pull up, it re-sizes the sheet so all lines end up too small to read.

Hi Jdalbert_ISEC,

Thanks for posting the community forum.

From your description, it seems that you want to insert specific rows of spreadsheet into OneNote.

Having observed closely and tested at my end, we cannot choose the specific rows to insert into OneNote. If we resize the table, the rows become smaller as shown below:

We may not find any way to achieve your requirement.

It’s actually going to be great if there was a way to adjust the sizes to the original spreadsheet size at the print area, but unfortunately there is no way it can be changed. I will request that you please consider giving feedback in OneNote · Community (microsoft.com) and let the product group know the requirement. Feedback portal is the best way to give the feedback to Product Group as it is strictly monitored by them.

If the scenario above is not consistent with yours, you can also post back in the community.

Your patience and understanding are highly appreciated. Stay safe and have a nice day.

Sincerely,

John| Microsoft Community Moderator
