Sharepoint ImageDocumentLibrary in Office 'insert pictures from' dropdown

Hello everyone,

Is it possible to show the content of a Sharepoint ImageDocumentLibrary in the drop down: 'insert pictures from' in Office powerpoint or word on a computer?

Currently I setup a folder in sharepoint and set the OrgAssetsType of that folder to ImageDocumentLibrary in Powershell

The folder is accessible for everyone in the organization.

Or is there a better way to deploy the organization images from a Sharepoint site?

Thanks in advanced.

Dear Julian,

Good day! Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

Based on my search, it is not available to add the Sharepoint ImageDocumentLibrary as an option in the feature "Insert Picture From". As a workaround, you can select the option "This Device" and paste the library URL (like https://tenantname.sharepoint.com/sites/sitename/libraryname) in the File Explorer. After that, you should be able to view the pictures in that library.

Also, we welcome community members to share ideas about your concern if one has related experiences.

Appreciate your understanding and patience.

Sincerely,

    Thank you for your reply.

Your workaround is helpful to me.

I didn't know that it was possible to browse to a Sharepoint library from the 'This device device' option.

    thanks!
