Resize double-arrows missing

Resizing arrows are missing from Office 365 applications Word, Outlook, & Powerpoint. When hovering over the edges, the double arrows don't appear. It doesn't have anything to do with updating Office applications because that is managed by a whole other team. Everyone is on the same version and only 1 user is experiencing this issue with the resize arrows missing.

Hi Waqas,

Thanks for your reply. I ended up finding out it was something weird going when their laptop was plugged into the docking station. When they disconnected it from the dock, the resizing arrows showed again.

    Dear kc_808,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, please let us cooperate and please don’t worry, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

It seems the problem only occur with specific user machine. May I know have you tried torepair an Office application to fix the problem. If repair Office doesn't work, then I think this problem might be raised by your local environment (Settings, Registry).

Given this situation, I would suggest you follow the methods below and see if they could help in your scenario:

1.Perform aClean Boot under your Windows, and check if issue persist.

2.Create a new user account under your Windows See if it still alerts you with the same behaviour.

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad
