ActiveX Scroll Bar doesn't scroll

Hello, I'm trying to add an ActiveX Scroll bar but the bar doesn't seem to scroll. It looks like a scroll bar and I can click on the outside arrows to move the number up and down but the actual little square in the middle doesn't move. I've enabled all controls in the trust center for activex settings. I've tried setting up a new scroll bar in a new workbook. I've open and closed Excel. File is saved in 2 versions - .xlsx and .xlsm. I can't figure out how to get this to look like a "functioning" scroll bar. The numbers can only go from 1-10 so it should be a visible slide but the slider (or square) just remains stationary - even if I click on the arrows to change the value which I can see happening in a linked cell. What am I missing or has Microsoft removed this functionality?

Thanks,

Stef.

Thanks I figured it out. It had to do with the fact I had an extra monitor connected to my laptop and when I try to use the scroll bars on the "extra" monitor they don't work. However if I move the worksheet to my laptop screen it works. Who knew!? Ended up being a simple solution.

Set the Min and Max property to the limits, after that you'll notice that the slider moves.

    Andreas.
