OneNote Syncing Issue E000006B b6d09

I have had this problem all day and judging by the number of other posts, it is not me but a much bigger issue with OneNote.

On both my iPad and my iPhone when I access any OneNote file I get a notification saying "Working offline (an error occurred)" and then when I access the detail it says “OneNote can't connect to the network. We'll try to sync your notes when the network is available. E000006B b6d09"

This error has persisted all day. I have restarted my devices, signed out and back into the account. I have re-installed the app on my iPad and the content.of each file is not downloading, it just says “we couldn’t open this section”

It is the same for all Notebooks

I save my files to my Personal OneDrive

I am a personal Microsoft account user

Any help would be much appreciated as this has messed up the whole of my day. This also needs to be escalated with Microsoft as, as I have already said, looking at the number of help threads around the same issue, there is obviously a bigger problem at play.

Thanks

Bev

    Hi,

My name is Tim and I’ll try my best to resolve your issue.

I’m sorry to see you’re experiencing problems using Office.

It appears there seems to be an issue with OneNote and Android today as there are many posts all reporting problems.

Hopefully Microsoft will address the issue soon. If you have the facility to provide feedback to Microsoft, I encourage you to do so in order for them to be aware.

    Many thanks

    Tim

Try this, since sometimes login credentials get corrupted in Ipad.

Clearing your credentials often helps. To do that, follow these steps.

    1. Go to iOS Settings > OneNote > Reset OneNote > Delete Sign-In Credentials and turn the toggle on.
    2. Make sure OneNote is not running. (Double tap the home screen to see all running apps and swipe up on OneNote to close it.)
    3. Re-open OneNote and sign in again.
