MS Forms exporting incorrectly

I have MS Forms and in the past it would export 5000 records per Excel sheet. For example if I have 20,000 surveys, I would get 4 Excel files. Now, when I export it will give me multiple Excel workbooks with about 1500 per export. This is causing too many files. How can I resolve this issue?

Hello,

Thanks for your reply. You could copy the link I gave you to replace the site directly on the URL page of the form when you log in to your Form interface, press Enter to refresh, and then try to select, export to Excel and then see if it works.

    Hi Kevin,

thanks for responding. It looks like it is downloading 1500 per Excel file. Where would I find the URL you are looking for? (URL of my Form https://forms.office.com/pages/designpagev2.aspx?subpage=design&id=vTEqnJjnjUiYa5AVasjym8BlzJtM2oRMgup9ZFTv6XdURUZINkdIMFFKVjZNNlZFTE4wMTFGNTJEVS4u&analysis=true)  When I push the "open in Excel" button it starts downloading files that contain 1500 per file. If you can point me in the direction of where you are referring to, I can get it for you.

    Thanks,

    Pam

Thanks for your update. You could find a string of 80-digit form IDs after the ID shown in the address bar on the form page where you want to export excel, copy it, and then add the ID after the address given by the website, and try to click Enter.

In order to confirm whether the number of digits you copied is accurate, you could enter the formula in a cell of excel, =len(A1), where the value of cell A1 is the ID you are pasting.

    Hello,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and appreciate your time taken for sharing detailed information.

5,000 is the maximum number of responses **** you could download to a single Excel workbook. So you were able to get four Excel files correctly before, but now you couldn't. Our suggestion is that you first check whether the url in your Form is set to the appropriate DownloadFileSize. If it is convenient, could you take a screenshot and show us what the url of your exported form looks like so that we could better understand your problem?

Feel free to post back if you need any further assistance.

    Best Regard,
