We tried printing multiple word documents at a time to a Canon and to a HP printer. It only prints 1 doc file instead of all. What can we do to rectify this?

Microsoft is aware of this issue, has been able to reproduce it, and is working on a solution.

    Hi fajereto,

First, my pleasure to assist you.

As per your description, please don’t worry, we can work together to narrow down and resolve the situation.

It seems when you try to print multiple Word documents files at a once and its only prints 1 document file instead of all.

If my understanding is right, for the situation you encountered, we do understand the inconvenience caused and apologize for it.

And I just tested from my side Word latest version 2204 (15128.20224) Current channel, and it seems I also meet same behaviour(reproduce) as like you described above, I cannot print multiple Word document files at once and I t will only one of the documents will be printed

My steps are I open the folder which contains multiple Word documents files and I select the files, right click then choose Print. Then the only one of the documents will be printed.

Also, after search a lot, there is found similar thread and in this thread mention Word Product Team have confirmed that this is a bug. For your reference: Word not printing multiple files as once.

Since I also get same problem and, in this scenario, to report this behaviour to related Word development team, I request you, please send/provided feedback to related team via Word app (for reference: How do I give feedback on Microsoft Office? ) or via Microsoft Word feedbackportal, so that they can get notice about it, so that they will fix this issue in next updates version of Word. It’s the best way to report to related team and we are sure it will speed up this process. Your advice is very important to us.

Your understanding and patience will be highly appreciated. I hope that you are keeping safe and well!

    Best regards

    Waqas Muhammad
