Can Office 365 Groups be @ mentioned?

I have tried to find a Microsoft 365 Group to @ mention it in Yammer and Teams and those groups are not coming up. Should we be able to @ mention Microsoft 365 groups? Thanks

As per your description, based on my test, I'm afraid to say that, I also meet the same behaviour as like you described above. Using Microsoft 365 Group in Yammer and Teams @ mention feature not show up. And @ mention feature work if I send a message to a specific person in Yammer (not group).

Here is my test screenshot for your reference:

It seems that due to limitation we cannot user in Microsoft 365 Group. Personally, I completely agree with you, this is indeed a good addition to the current features of Microsoft Yammer and Teams. It would be definitely ideal if we can add feature to @ mention Microsoft 365 Group in Yammer. Thank you for bringing thing to our attention.
