    No worries.

I reached to the same result as well. Seems that M365 Groups and DLs can't be combined together.

    Thank you,

    Hello NASIF Ehab,

Apologies for late response, I am afraid the result is the same, I have done some tests as well and you cannot add a distribution list into a Microsoft 365 group.

Your kind understanding is highly appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Simbarashe

    Hello Simbarashe,

Exactly. This is what I meant.

What about the other way around, Can we add a DL inside an M365 Group?

    Thank you,

    Hi NASIF Ehab,

    Greetings

Thank you for posting in Microsoft 365 Community forum.

I understand you want to know if it is possible to add a Microsoft 365 group to a distribution list. Please correct me if I am wrong.

We have done some research and test to check if it is possible to add a Microsoft 365 group to a distribution list, I am afraid this feature is not available. If you need further information on this please let me know I will be happy to continue working with you.

Your kind understanding is highly appreciated.

    Kind regards,

    Simbarashe
