Power Map for Excel

I am interested in creating a cemetery map (rectangular shapes added over a digital cemetery plot map image) that is linked to already established plot data in an excel sheet. I thought I could create such a custom map by inserting a custom image into Excel Power Map, but I don't seem to have the Tours button located under the Map button to initiate this image insertion as explained in an MS post titled - Create a custom map in Power Map Excel 2013 . Maybe Maps in Excel no longer has this capability? Or, maybe I need another Add-on? Thank you.

    Hi

Power Map (aka 3D Maps) is a great feature, but it was built using code that's specific to Microsoft Windows and is therefore available only in Excel for Windows.

Microsoft has been considering this feature for Mac for quite some time. Anyone interested in encouraging Microsoft to pursue this feature for Mac should add comments in the suggestion box here:

Add 3D Map / Power Map to Mac Excel 2016 · Community (microsoft.com)

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

The Power Map is a feature in Excel 2013, it's now called 3D Maps in Microsoft365 subscription Excel.

Please check this article: Get started with 3D Maps (microsoft.com)/Explore your data in a 3D Maps tour (microsoft.com)

Meanwhile, we notice that you posted this thread under Mac category, 3D Maps feature is not supported on Mac so far, we apologize for the inconvenience caused by this scenario. Please check this thread: Power Map / 3D Map for Mac - Microsoft Community. Our MVP had a clear explanation about this feature on Mac system.
