OneNote for Android sorting and syncing issues

With the current OneNote for Android (16.0.15629... and several versions before), I have two issues:

  1. automatic sync does not always work as expected in the PC -> phone direction:

most of the time, changes made using the Windows version require forced sync to appear on the phone version, regardless of the connection (Wi-Fi or 4G); the other way around seems more automatic;

and it's more cumbersome since the latest major UI changes on the Android version where accessing the sync button is less straightforward than in earlier versions

  1. the home screen defaults to tiles which can be arranged alphabetically or by date/time; I've no clue why but on my phone (french android), the date displayed at the bottom right corner of each tile is not always up to date (sometimes off by several weeks...internal messing up of DDMMYYYY vs. MMDDYYYY ???); as a result, the display order of these tiles appears unpredictable (unusable) when I opt for 'modification date' in the sorting options; alphabetical order is OK.
