incomplete folder copy

To reduce file path length we changed the name of a project folder. this created an incomplete copy of the first folder without our knowledge

we then began to work on this incomplete copy creating two incomplete project folders.

it took us several weeks to realise there were 2 folders and as such both have changed significantly but need to be re combined

Is there a way to merge these 2 quite large and convoluted project folders (they have CAD and other such files)

    Dear Clancy Mullbrick,

Good day! Thank you for posting your query in our community.

Based on your description, we can know that now you have two folders in your OneDrive and you want to combine files in these two folders.

AFAIK, currently, there is no out-of-box way to meet your requirement in OneDrive. We recommend that you submit requirement for this feature in this OneDrive UserVoice and many members who has the same requirement with you will vote it in the future.

And you could also contact your Office 365 administrator in your company if you aren’t the administrator and follow the steps in the article to open a ticket, supports there have higher permission and more resources than us, they may could find an easy way to help you combine the folders quickly.

    Appreciate your understanding.

    Sincerely,

    Jazlyn | Microsoft Community Moderator
