Excel 365 Automate Office Scripts Code Editor closes randomly

The Code Editor in Excel 365 Automate closes randomly, even while typing, many times per day. I have seen the 'Please wait... we'll be back in a moment' warning, but it has never reopened on its own. The changes are not lost, but each time I have to reopen the script, resize the window, and find where I was editing. In a script with hundreds of lines this is a huge waste of time. Why is this interface designed to do this at all? How can I stop it from happening?

    Hello jiwhite,

Per the description shared, I understand the problem facing at your end and I have tried to perform a simple test at my end by working with the Script feature in the Excel for the web, where I didn't encounter any problem. So, to move further and guide in you correct direction, we would like to confirm some scenarios:

    a. Does this problem happens with a specific Excel workbook or any Excel workbook even with a new Workbook?

    b. If you with a different browser, do you encounter the same situation?

    c. If the problem is with a specific Excel workbook, can I know whether it's a large workbook with data?

    Appreciate your understanding!!

    Best Regards,

    Chitrahaas
