Hi everyone. I would like to ask for your help with one problem in my Excel. I work with the copy and paste operation a lot and want to carry out the action as quickest as possible. However, if I choose another value after copying the first value and not pasting it, the Excel cannot understand the second value I choose. The result it pastes is the first value. Can anyone let me know how I fix it? Thanks very much.

It seems that I cannot immediately paste the second value if I mis-copy before. Anyway, thank you for your help.

    Have a great day!

Hi Snow, thank you for your reply.

It doesn't what I mean. I mis-copy the first value, then I choose another cell to copy and when I paste it, it doesn't show the second value but the original one and remains highlighted with the moving dash border showing what I selected before. I can use the ESC button to fix this problem but I copy - paste quite a big amount of data. If you know a way to remove the "keep the copy", please kindly share. Thank you :D

    Hi hoale0929,

Do you want to copy 2 values at the same time?

Choose the first value and press ctrl then choose another value. Copy them and paste to new cells.

If it is not situation, please share some sample data you want.

    Best Regards,
    Snow Lu
