Sort Not Working -New Issue

Anyone else just started experiencing the Sort options from the filter no longer working. This is occurring in any file with any column content. After clicking the option from the menu or the filter popup, the column isn't sorted and the bottom right show status bar show Sort and then a blank progress bar. We have tried to repair and uninstall and re-install but still experiencing the issue.

    It is one of your add-ins, deactivate all (Excel and COM) add-ins and check the behaviour.

    The issue should be gone. Now activate one after the other, check the behaviour till the issue is back.

    Hi, yes that works in Safe Mode. What could be the issue then?

    Please follow these steps:

    Close Excel
    Press and hold the CTRL key
    Open Excel
    Wait for a message to appear and ask for "Safe Mode"
    Release the CTRL key
    Click Yes
    After Excel opens
    Make a new file

    Test the behavior
