Dear Jeong Jinseong,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft Community.

According to your description, it looks like you cannot use Search function when you filter data on a table in Excel web app. May I know if my understanding of the scenario is right?

If yes, when we tested in Excel web app from our side, we reproduce the situation as shown below.

When we clicked the Filter button in a column, there is no Search function to search values. May I know if it's the same situation on your side?

We also tested further and got the same result when using Excel web app in different browsers: Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox.

We do understand it has affected your work. Very sorry for the inconvenience.

As you mentioned you could search from the filter box in the past, we sincerely recommend you share feedback about it from Help tab>Feedback in Excel web app. This is the best way to let the developers know about the situation, and know your requirements and comments, help improve the product and make it better for you and others. We appreciate your understanding!

At the same time, when we open the Excel file in Excel desktop application, we can find the Search function if we filter data on a table, as shown below.

So if you have Excel desktop application, for workaround, we suggest you open the Excel file in Excel desktop application by clicking Editing > Open in Desktop App from ribbon.

In addition, if our understanding of the scenario is not consistent with yours, feel free to point it out.

Thanks for your patience and understanding!

Sincerely,
