Subsite creation with custom template using API call failing after activating a feature

I have saved a custom template and using this template I am creating subsites under a site collection based on user request with the help of rest api call. But after activating a feature at site collection level,I am not able to create a subsite using the template because that feature is not activated in the site before saving it as a template. Is there any way to override this and create the subsite forcefully even if there is a mismatch in activated features at Site Collection level?
