Font issue with One drive and excel

When I last opened my file within one drive the fonts were normal and legible. However today I opened the same file and it was still fine. Then I entered some information into it and the fonts all became illegible. Clearly my font is Arial, per the screen shot below. I've tried getting out and getting back in but no change. How do I get my file back to where I can read it? Teresa

    Hello Teresa,

Welcome to Microsoft Community and appreciate your time taken for sharing detailed information. I could share with you some of my thoughts on this issue.

Some questions before proceedings. Is this the only documentation going to have a problem, or is it the same for other documents? Is the language you entered the same as the language in the original document? Have you ever entered some special characters (e.g., math equation)? I want to ask what your version of office is like. Have you ever tried to go back to its original state and see if the content will reply? (Ctrl +Z) But if you have exited and then entered, it will refresh again, then you cannot go back. You could also try changing the format of your Excel, changing it to another format and then changing it back to see if it works.

Feel free to post back if you need any further assistance.

    Best Regard,

This was the only file I had tried opening as it is my main file I used almost daily. The language is the same as the original document and all my other documents. I've been using this file for over a year and no previous issues. It is and has always been full of equations. I tried Ctrl +Z, no luck. I was utilizing Office 365 via the web, when the funny business started. I closed and opened it withing excel on my desktop which was Office 16 and it opened there fine. I saved it, re-uploaded it to one drive and tried opening it again, but received the same results. I then opened it via my android phone and it was fine. It was only when opening it via the web and Office 365 that was an issue. However, just before replying to this post I tried it again and it was fine. Not sure what is going on.
