Handwritten Note Disappeared.

Hi!

I was writing on OneNote using my iPad and apple pencil. While writing, the note just blanked out and I'm not able to see anything on that note apart from a blank screen and the menu that is up there [Home l Insert l Draw l View]. My previously made notebooks are visible. Now I'm not even able to write anything on that particular notebook. If I go on to the option of Immersive Reader, there the handwritten note, converted into text is visible.

Same issue is happening if I try accessing them using other devices.

Please help me revive them.

Thanks!

    Hi Vansh Tandon,

Thanks for querying in this forum.

According to your description, you cannot see your handwritten notes in OneNote on iPad, it shows a blank screen. We deeply understand this issue has affected your daily work. Very sorry for the inconvenience caused.

We notice you mentioned same issue is happening on other devices. In this situation, we recommend you firstly go to check if you can find the handwritten notes in OneNote Online.

And if you can find them in OneNote Online, we'd also want to confirm the following information to better understand the situation and help you do troubleshooting for the issue.

1.Are there a lot of handwritten notes, pictures or file attachments on the page?

2.Does the issue happen on a specific page or different pages in your OneNote notebook?

Do all pages which have handwritten notes have this problem?

3.Where are your notebooks saved? In OneDrive for business or personal OneDrive?

4.What is your OneNote app version and iOS version?

Thanks for your patience and understanding. Hope you are keeping safe and well!!

    Best Regards,

    Tina
