MS Word Urdu Text Paste Problem.

Question

When I paste from one Urdu language file to another Urdu file in MS Word, the text gets messed up, alignment and formatting gets disturbed and punctuation also gets worse. FYI, Urdu is written same as Arabic, Persian text, so please help me understand and fix this issue?

Not sure if it would work but you can try by pasting text only option. Hope it would work for you.

If the behavior still persists, Please try the following steps to troubleshooting the possible reason to check the behavior:

Use online repair tool to repair your Word then see the behavior. Please refer to Repair an Office application (microsoft.com)

Besides, we would like to collect more detailed information about the situation you are experiencing so that we can have further investigation:

• Does otehr text also experienced the same behavior when paste in different files?
• Can you tell us your Word product information so that we can do a test in the same environment to see the result? Go to File>Account then share the screenshot to us.
• May I know does the behavior happen in Word for the browser?
