Charged incorrect amount for Microsoft Account

It showed my card was not be charged, but I updated that information. I clicked on the $6.99 monthly like I have been paying for years for my Microsoft Office. I was charged on 5/31 for a whole year, and that is not the option I choose.

I would like a refund and back to the $6.99 a month please.

    Hi, MistyBurroughs.

I understand that you set up your subscription to be billed monthly, but you were charged the full amount for the entire year. You will need to contact support to report the error and request a refund of the amount charged.

Open the link below in a Private Browser Window

    https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/home/expcon...

On the page that opens, follow the steps below:

    1. Enter your problem and click <Get Help>
    2. Click <Login and Contact Support > at the bottom of the page
    3. Log in with your Microsoft account
    4. Under Products and Services, select the <Microsoft 365 and Office> option.
    5. Under Category, select <Manage Subscription> and confirm.
    6. Click "Chat with a support agent in your browser" and follow the onscreen instructions.
    7. An agent will help you shortly.

→ Refunds are usually processed within 3-5 days.
