Screen refresh issue when using filters

Split from this thread about a much older version of Microsoft Excel.

Hello,

I am experiencing the same problem as well for months.

Only experiencing it on larger excel files that I am working on: 50 to 60mb in size. My excel turns blank when I am switching my filters. Fortunately I can save it, re-open it and all appears again where I left it. But it is frustrating, especially when it happens in cycles of 3 to 5 minutes...

Hopefully someone can help.

    I don't have any files quite that large but I do have one which is 42.8MB (19 Columns x 228627 Rows). I haven't been able to reproduce the issue [Microsoft 385 v16.66.1 on macOS 12.6].

    Please clarify what you mean by "...switching my filters". Exactly what steps are you taking? Specific details are important.

    Still occurring for me too always on larger spreadsheets that use tables with filters.

    M1 MAX Macbook Pro; 32 GB memory; 1T hard drive

    File is 12.3mb with multiple tabs, and around 12,500 rows of data,, columns around 75

    Excel is running version 16.66

    Have to keep closing and re-opening the files to continue working with the data.
