Word Save As Function Not Working Properly

In Word (MS 365-Windows) the "Save As" function brings up a blank screen. I can do a "Save As" if I select "Export" --> "Change File Type" --> "Save As". This is not the normal process. What gives?

    Thank you for writing to the Microsoft Answer Community Forum, I am Shakiru, an independent advisor and a user like you, and I am glad to be helping you out today.

    Please do this:

    1. Try to open the Microsoft App in Safe Mode: Press and Hold down the Ctrl key while opening Word and click OK/Yes to start Microsoft Word in safe mode and check if the "Save As" function works fine
    2. Start Word using default settings
    • Exit Word.
    • Select the Start button and search for Run. In the Run dialog box type the following:
    • winword.exe /a -check if the "Save As" function works fine if not move to step 3
