Azure SQL Database vCore Auto-Scaling

Question

Currently we are using an Azure SQL Database that is 32 gb in size. We have 4 vCores allocated for it, but are not always using the full computing potential of these cores. Is there a way for us to auto-scale our vCore usage? We would like to sit at 2 vCores then auto-scale up to 4 when needed. Thanks!

Scaling operation is a manual one. The service doesn't support auto-scaling.
