Missing document on word for android

Question

Hello,

Yesterday evening i was writing in a text document on my android device, and this document, as I noticed today, has since then disappeared. The document was created and written offline, and by the time I was done writing and closed the document (by directly closing the app) my device was connected to the internet.

The document does not seem to have been saved on my device nor on my onedrive (which is strange since another document I wrote earlier that day had been saved on both).

I looked for said document all over my device's and onedrive's files and bin, but it seems to be gone for good. Worst thing is, this isn't the first time this exact scenario has happened to me.

I am so sorry about that. This is something that I have experienced before so I totally understand your situation right now.

I understand that you already checked your OneDrive storage and it is not there, however, there are still some storage in your Android where you can find the document. That was the same article that helps me to recover my missing Word document when this happened to me.

Thank you, however I checked my google drive including it's recycle bin and it wasn't there either (as for dropbox, well I don't use dropbox).

Do you think perhaps my file could have simply disappeared because it somehow wasn't saved anywhere when I closed word ?
