How do i sign into my email without using the microsoft authenticator app even though it is linked to the app?

Question

I added my school email to a Microsoft authenticator app and then I had to switch phones. When I logged back into the app my school email wasn't linked anymore so I tried to add the email but it keeps telling me to sign in using the app. when I click that I cant use the app right now it sends me to a page where I can sign in through the app or get cdes. But I cant get codes if the email isn't on the app. I need this fixed ASAP PLEASE HELP ME.

If cloud backup was enabled you may be able to restore
