Hi
I'm Taiwo and I'd be happy to help you with your question. In this Forum, We are Microsoft consumers just like yourself.
If your iPad is experiencing issues where OneNote keeps switching to text mode even when you're using drawing mode, you can try the following steps to troubleshoot the issue:
- A simple restart can often fix many software-related issues. To restart your iPad, press and hold the Power button until the "slide to power off" slider appears, then slide the slider to turn off your device. Once your iPad is off, press and hold the Power button again until the Apple logo appears.
- Make sure that you have the latest version of OneNote installed on your iPad. You can check for updates in the App Store by going to the "Updates" tab and tapping the "Update" button next to OneNote, if available.
- Clearing the cache can help to resolve issues with the app. To do this, go to "Settings" > "Storage" > "OneNote" and tap "Clear Cache."
- you can try uninstalling and reinstalling OneNote on your iPad. To do this, press and hold the OneNote app icon on your home screen until it starts to jiggle, then tap the "X" button and confirm that you want to delete the app. Once the app is deleted, go to the App Store and reinstall OneNote.
