124462-2021-08-18-16-42-27-memcm-version-installed.pngHello,

I am looking for information about the size of the package deployed by the Software Update process to the servers.

  • Operating Systems: Windows Server 2008, Windows Server 2008 R2, Windows Server 2012, Windows Server 2012 R2, Windows Server 2016, Windows Server 2019, Windows Server Version 1903 and later.
  • SQL Server 2008, SQL Server 2008 R2, Sql Server 2012, SQL Server 2014, SQL Server 2019

What will be the approximative size of this package? Mine is 215 Gb and it seems too big...
the option were:

  • last month
  • English
  • No Superseded
    etc... for the ADR

Thanks,
Dom

    Hi, @Dominique DUCHEMIN
Thank you for posting in Microsoft Q&A forum.

The size of the package depends on your filter criteria, I think the size is normal if your ADR contains so many products.
We know the limit for software updates in the ADR is 1000 software updates, so an ADR package could even be larger than your package size 215 Gb.

And I suggest we can use Deployed as an update filter for your automatic deployment rules, the software update filter can help avoid redeploying older updates.
