As title says, is it possible to split the screen in the task window?

It would be much easier especially when you want to look at the dependency of a specific task but then need to get back to it. Having a split screen, you would have in the same window, the tasks and then its dependency.

Browser-Ice,

When you say "task view" I assume you mean the Gantt Chart view and yes you can do a split screen. If you are interested in dependencies associated with a specific task I suggest you use the Relationship Diagram in the lower pane. When you select a task in the upper pane (Gantt Chart), the Relationship Diagram will show all dependencies for that task.

You might also try the Task Path feature found under, Gantt Chart Format > Bar Styles

Or, the Inspect feature found under, Task > Tasks

Or, a custom filter using a Flag field to isolate desired tasks.

Lots of choices.

John

I like the Inspect one as it allows to switch the view back and forth between the task and its dependencies

Thx. I think I will use instead.
