Color coding

In MS Projects it looks like you can color code buckets and tasks - but when I move to the Gantt chart / timeline the colors go away. Is there a way to keep the color coding in both views?

Thank you

    NBTKai,

Custom formatting is unique to a view so the colors you may set up in a Gantt Chart view will not appear in other views and vice versa. So to answer your question, the only way to do custom color formatting between views to to replicate it for each view.

I know its not the answer your were hoping for, but that's the way it works.
