    Dear Sridevi Grandhi,

    Good day!!

    I understand your requirement i.e., you would like to add a subtitle to the Excel charts similar to the chart title. AFAIK, there is no option in the Excel charts to insert the subtitles but as a workaround, you can use the Text Boxfeature in the Excel app to insert the box on the chart and enter the text.

    However, since you require to perform on multiple charts, I believe you can meet your requirement using Macro VBA, so please try to post your concern in the VBA community. Reference: https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/office/vba/articles/feedback-support

    Thanks for understanding.

    Regards,

    Hi,

    Split title in two sections

    and add the 2nd line as subtitle

    vba code

    '..............

    '.............

    Dim obj As ChartObject

    Set obj = ActiveSheet.ChartObjects(1)

    Dim c As Chart

    Set c = obj.Chart

    With c

    .HasTitle = True

    With .ChartTitle

    .Text = "Line-One Title" & vbCr & "Line-Two Subtitle"

    With .Characters(1, 14).Font

    .Size = 16

    .Name = "Arial"

    .Italic = True

    .Color = RGB(165, 42, 42)

    .Underline = True

    End With

    With .Characters(15, 31).Font

    .Size = 12

    .Name = "Arial Narrow"

    .Italic = True

    .Color = RGB(34, 139, 34)

    End With

    End With

    End With

    '.............

    '............
