Sorting Data Excel Windows 11

I'm having trouble sorting data by dates in Excel on Windows 11. In Windows 10 I was able to do a regular sort by column A and get 12/14/2022 followed by 01/05/2023 , in Windows 11 when I follow the same process I'm getting 01/05/2023 followed by 12/14/2022 followed by 12/13/2022 etc. Please advise if you have come across this problem and how it was corrected.

Regards, Jan

    Hi,

I am Jay Cee I'll do my best to help you get this sorted or direct you towards the solution needed.

You may try to follow the steps below:

Drag down the column to select the dates you want to sort.

Click Home tab > arrow under Sort & Filter, and then click Sort Oldest to Newest, or Sort Newest to Oldest.

Please don't hesitate to write back if further help is required.

    Warm Regards, Jay Cee
