Runtime Error 53 on a mac (without Adobe installed)

Question

Hi - I am trying to fix the Runtime error 53 box that appears when I open any Office product. I have seen previous articles that point me to Adobe products as the issue but I do not have Adobe products installed on my machine. Can anybody assist please? Happens on any Office app.

That error is a general failure caused by something which involves VBA. It is frequently associated with the Adobe add-in because the add-in is VBA based, but it isn't exclusive to the Adobe add-in. The actual cause could be any incompatible, out-of-date, or poorly written add-in or other VBA based process [such as an invalid AutoExec macro].

If you provide the complete error message or a screen shot of it perhaps someone can help identify the culprit.
