"n.getResponse is not a function" when moving files from OneDrive for Business to SharePoint Online library

Hi folks,

I'm wondering if someone can help with a strange issue. I have a user who is trying to move files from their OneDrive to a SharePoint Online library via the OneDrive web interface. Once they have moved the file, attempting to view the contents of the target library gives the error, "Something went wrong. n.getResponse is not a function".

I've been able to replicate this myself and, as far as I can see, it is only occurring on a single library. I've had it happen in both Chrome and Edge.

Has anyone come across anything similar, and can you give me some advice on what to do about it, please?

In case it's important, the library contains 25,000 items, but they are grouped in folders so the 5,000 item view limit is not reached.

Thanks in advance.

    Dear Chris,

Good day! Thanks for posting in the community. We are happy to help you.

According to your description, the situation happens to multiple users and happens when moving files to a specific library. Based on my search, I haven't found any built-in settings that will cause this situation. Please contact your admin/IT department and let them create a support ticket via Microsoft 365 Admin Center> Support> New service request. That support team there will have the correct channel and resources to help you investigate more and find what exactly the reason has caused this situation.

    Appreciate your understanding and patience.

    Sincerely,

    George | Microsoft Community Moderator
