Background image scaling

Question

In a recent update to the mobile OneNote apps on iOS and android, any of the background images scale to fit the page. If you have annotations over the images, the images go small and the text stays as is. This will then sync across all of your devices. And you have to restore the page. Is OneNote developers aware of this issue?

Still an issue Oct 31 2023.

I used to use OneNote for class assignments and feedback. Can’t until this is fixed.

Also, the problem also can occur from Surface sideways rotation (win10). Some file types are worse than others, but Lens-inserted images from phone always have the problem. Also, same update made it much harder to set all images as background. Which, why doesn’t that lock them to the page????!

That’s a huge use of OneNote for me, drawing on top of other things, don’t others use it for that? I’m even thinking of getting an iPad. So disappointed.

Thanks I have submitted feedback twice now from two different devices. I haven't received any update or seen a fix in the last two monthly app updates. What further steps can I take? Or is there a way to see if my feedback has been reviewed?

You're exactly right, I have tested and replicated your concern using my personal iPhone and I also encountered the same issue with OneNote.
