Office version for local/shared devices

Good morning,

I'm looking to get a recommendation for a version of office newer than 2016 that we can just install/license per device. We don't want users to have to login with a 365 account in order for it to work. We just want to install the program provide the KMS/MAK licensing and then be on our way. Everything I've seen looks like it needs the user to login which we don't want as we're mainly a Google shop but need the program for some applications.

Thanks in advance!

    Dear respected Oilers_tech,

Good day! Thank you for posting to Microsoft Community. We are happy to help you.

As per your description, we recommend installing Office LTSC Professional Plus 2021 and using a traditional activation method such as Key Management Service (KMS).

For Volume License, here is article for your reference. Activate volume licensed versions of Office by using MAK

Appreciate your patience and understanding and thank you for your time and cooperation.

    Sincerely,

    Waqas Muhammad
