Please have your family member log in to his/her Microsoft account https://account.microsoft.com/services?ref=officesupport and see if there are two offices registered.
Go to the control panel > Programs and Feature and see if there are duplicate Office installed, he/she can uninstall the other Office version.
- Restart the computer
