Microsoft Error - System Error &H8000FFFF

Hello,

There is a document that we have been using with VBA that has been working since last March. Today someone went in to update numbers and received an error I've never seen before:

System Error &H8000FFFF (-2147418113). Catastrophic Failure

I googled it and said it was something with the VBAs. When I went into the macros they were completely gone. If I try to write a new module, nothing pops up either.

Is there a way to salvage this document? I have an old version saved with the written codes for the VBAs, but it's not even letting me assign a macro to this.

Thank you,

Michelle

Additionally, if I try to assign a macro in the document or write one, the excels freeze.

    Hi Snow,

The document does proprietary information, and it is not letting me save the document. is there another way to share the macros without sharing the document?

    Thanks!
