Excel Embed stopped working

Hi,

I had setup a remote viewing board for our team via excel. I was able to get it working and was good for a few days. I came in today and now it is starting to ask for a login when I didn't need one before.

When I test it in incognito on chrome, it asks for a login, but when I input the link directly (Outside our HTML file) it works as a guest user and no sign-in requried.

Can anyone help us out please.

    Hi Sean,

I tried in both Firefox and edge private browser, and they worked as expected. My colleagues are viewing this on a Brightsign player, and this is where we are seeing the error.

My colleagues are able to view and edit the excel sheet from their computers.

    Dear Daniel G_559,

Thanks for posting in Microsoft community. We are glad to help you.

Please try if using another browser like Edge with a new Excel file embedded, will you get the same issue? Meanwhile, may I know if you colleagues could view the same error on their side. This would help us narrow down if this was an credential issue or the issue was related to your SharePoint site.

Thanks for your understanding and cooperation! Hope you keep safe and healthy always.

    Sincerely,

    Sean | Microsoft Community Moderator
