I have a user that got a new laptop, its on windows 10 and she keeps receiving this error message when running a macro.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled office. I went to the Macro Settings and enabled "Trust Access to the VBA project object model." I also, disabled her add-ins and ran the macro in safe mode. Kind of stuck and I do not want to reimage the computer for this one issue, but if I have to okay.

Please let me know if you have any other suggestions regarding this issue.

    Let her do the following:

    • Activate the Visual Basic Editor (Alt+F11).
    • Select Tools > Options...
    • Activate the General tab of the Options dialog.
    • In the Error Trapping section, select 'Break in Class Module'.
    • Click OK.

Then run a macro. The Debug button in the error message, that is disabled in the screenshot that you posted, should now be enabled, hopefully.

    Let her click Debug.

This should take her to the line of code that causes the error - it will be highlighted in yellow.

    Does that provide a clue?

Thank you, for your quick response! It did not populate anything for her. We also seen that this is happening to any file that has a Macro enabled.
