Error Code: 0x02000209 in Microsoft Excel

Hi!

I cannot open Microsoft Excel since yesterday. It shows the below message:

Logical CPU: 0

Error Code: 0x02000209

Trap Number: 133

The other Microsoft Office apps work well (Word, PPT)

The version is: 16.71 (16.71.23031200)

Please kindly assist on how to fix it.

    Hello Rocio,

    Thank you for coming to the forum.

    I am sorry about the challenge, can you try removing the Excel and installing it back?

    Open Finder > Applications > scroll down to Microsoft Excel and select it to move to trash by Ctrl+click

    Then in Finder again: In Finder, press COMMAND+Shift+g. In the window that opens, enter ~/Library and then click Go.

    Open the Containers folder and ctrl+click Microsoft Excel and Move to Trash (if you do not see Microsoft Excel do not worry)

    Restart your MAC to complete the uninstall

    Then go to App store and download another Microsoft Excel.
